Managing quality is central to the profitability of a company. Quality characteristics can vary from being able to meet the design specifications, responding customers email on time, and to being able to get the right materials on right time at the right price depending upon your job function. As a part of a National Science Foundation Advanced Technological Education (ATE) project, the Texas A&M University Department of Engineering Technology and Industrial Distribution (ETID) is offering a two‐day short course on Manufacturing Quality Excellence Program (MQEP) in Houston August 13‐14, 2018. This program will focus on basic understanding and best practices in measuring and maintaining quality in a manufacturing and supply chain management environment. A certificate of completion will be provided at the end of the educational session.
